Fermi Bohigas has been growing and making family wines since the 13th century in Penedes. All wines produced from their organic grown vineyards then cellared in their ancient old cave and bottled on premise. Jordi Casanovas Bohigas continues the family tradition and her daughter Maria Casanova is the winemaker. They focus on indigenous varieties of Xarello, Macabeo and Parellada for the blend and do extended lees aging for a textured and high quality cava.
